I made a layout documenting my word for 2010.

 

I used Ali Edwards' details digital overlay and the wordle.com word cloud that she made of her blog commenter's words and printed it on cardstock. I really loved making a hybrid layout. It was so much faster! I used American Crafts Thickers for the finishing touches. (There will be lots and lots of AC Thickers on all of my future layouts because I thought they were half off at Hobby Lobby, but I got to the register and they were not. I  bought them anyway though because the line behind me was so long and I had been wanting them forever.) I'm really liking this color combo too - including the gray cardstock. It's a bad picture, so you probably can't see the gray. I'm going to try to figure out why my scanner isn't working and fix it so I can scan it in instead.

I am proud to say that I have supplies and pictures ready for my next layout. So, I should be making it soon, yay! I love putting time aside to be creatve.

my word for 2010

This year I'd like to take time and enjoy the blessings that God has given me, specifically the people in my life.
To remind me of this, I've chosen the word flourish.
I want my relationships to flourish - with my husband, my son, God, my family and friends.
This will take work on my part, and I'm willing to put myself out there.
I, of course, want other parts of my life to flourish too. The things I enjoy doing - scrapbooking, cardmaking, photography, blogging, cooking.
This year, I turn 30 and I feel like my life has settled and now it's time for me to grow.
