dada
Teagen's first word is officially "dada". He didn't just babble it, he looked directly at Jeff when he walked in the house and said "dada"! Needless to say, Jeff is pretty excited!

"How many slams in an old screen door? Depends how loud you shut it. How many slices in a bread? Depends how thin you cut it. How much good inside a day? Depends how good you live 'em. How much love inside a friend? Depends how much you give 'em."
Today was Teagen's first day at daycare. I think it was a lot harder on Jeff and I than Teagen. He did really well. He didn't even really notice that I had left his room. I ducked out quickly and cried a little in my car. Once I got to work, I registered to watch his class online which made me feel sooo much better. I saw him nap, eat lunch and play. I even saw Jeff pick him up! Teagen's "teachers" said he did really good today and only fussed a little bit. I can't wait to get home and see him and give him a great big hug!
So this is what Teagen has been up to lately:
He turned 4 months (and he's close to 5 months now)
I think he looks a lot like my brother Joe in these pictures. I'm gonna have to borrow one of his baby pictures and do a side by side comparison :)
Here's Teagen and Sophia hanging out. He had his shots that morning so he was a little fussy.
Now that he's a big boy, he prefers to sit up in his boppy.
Here they are trying to do a karate punch. I thin Sophia's more into it than Teagen.
Here are the Mamas with their babies

and the Mamas with their friends' babies:
Here's sweet Sophia.
Teagen's trying out his high chair, without the table because he's so tiny ;)
and last, but not least, Teagen in his walker. His Tio Joe and Tia Laura bought it for him before he was even born. He finally gets to play in it...sort of!
We went to Benihana for lunch today to celebrate my Dad's and my birthdays. It was sooo good:) My parents tried California rolls and wasabi for the first time, it was pretty funny!
Teagy was so tired he slept through all of the excitement
And here's one more picture of Teagy and Mama.
ps. I broke out my regular P&S camera. My Canon is too heavy to lug around sometimes, especially with a diaper bag. I guess I'm trading quality for convenience, at least for now.
